It's rare but does happen more the last year
Since they started handing out big limits on Venture and QS
I received that same message in October and was approved for my CLI. It wasn't much but I was approved. I suspect that if your income checks out, you will receive a CLI.
I'm not asking for specifics, but are you reporting a high income when you request your CLI?
I recall Capital One a while back asking for POI from someone who was applying for a new account and was reporting a high income... in that case, the results were an approval with a higher than usual initial credit line.

Thanks for sharing. IIRC in the other case the poster reported an income over $100k, so perhaps somewhere around that amount Capital One has a trigger for POI. (That's just my speculation.)
So far I've not heard of anybody with a more modest income being asked for POI... hopefully that trend will continue!

They won't give you an increase.
@Anonymous wrote:Hi, I submitted a request for CLI and received this in email-
"To finish processing your recent request, we need information showing proof of your income.
Upload a copy of one or more of the following documents to verify your income: • Tax return document(s) (W2, Form 1040 and/or Form 1099) from the most recent tax year • Two consecutive pay stubs or earnings statements issued within the last three months..."
Does It seem like ill be approved once verified?
Yes once u send in proof they will increase your limit

Maybe I had to send in POI for my venture and QS. Maybe it's cause when I got car loan I was reporting 180k and when I applied for venture and QS I put income at 240k cause of my year end bonus. After sending it in I got venture for 15000 and QS for 8000. Also have another QS1 with 3000 and QS 2000
