Capital One COLD app survey for Venture

For those who have applied for a Cap1 Venture WITHOUT getting a pre-approval, please reply whether you were approved or not. I'm about to apply for a 2nd Venture and want to know some other people's results. Thanks!

I just cold apped 4 days ago and I'm on the 7-10 day letter response. I received a call from the fraud dept asking if it was I who applied and I informed them that was indeed the case so we will see if they deny me or not. I'll reply back here.

Yes I was approved, and my scores were lower than yours.

I did a cold app for Venture and was approved for $10k.

I could never get pre-qual to show anything for CapOne.  I've received both my Venture One cards, my regular Venture, and my QuickSilver via cold app.  My QS started as a QS1 that I PC'd to a QS after about 6 months or so.  My Fico 08 scores were in the high 600's if memory serves me right.  But I've learned from the forum that CapOne doesn't use 08 scores...so I honestly couldn't tell you what model they used or what my score (that they used) was at the time I applied.

I have cold app twice, denied. Ouch. My father cold app once and approved for 10k.

I tried the preapp site about 2 months ago but it says "couldn't match for any card" ... Cold app after doing the unsuccessful preapp ... Approved for Venture $10K.

I bit the bullet and app'ed cold. Got my 2nd Venture... Details in the approvals forum.

Cold app'f for 2 Venture's and got 20k on each.  Go for it!
