In regards to the Venture craze, which I want to get in on, I noticed on their prequal site that it mentions having credit cards longer than 3 years. I started building my credit again just over 2 years ago with the CapOne Platinum card. My scores should be around 680-700 as of right now since util is dropping from 20% to 10%. My question: Have ANY of you gotten approved for this Venture rush with less than 3 years credit card history? If so, what was your highest reporting limit prior to the Venture approval? What was your Venture approval CL?
Their criteria isn't right what they consider excellent credit, they don't follow it at least

Consider the average Capital One applicant.
Excellent is bound to be slightly less than remarkable.
Regular bank loans also qualify with the Excellent Credit criteria FWIW.
