Re: Capital One - needing 0% Intro and higher limit!

OP what kind of limit would've been ideal so you wouldn't need to apply further?

Thanks Elim.

Would someone with a Venture One have to upgrade in order to combine with Quicksilver? Can you also combine Venture and Venture One?

Re: Capital One - needing 0% Intro and higher limit!

JSS3,
I was aiming for 3-4 thousand. Enough to cover a majority of my trip. I got enough to cover the trip and other activies while in Jamaica all on one card, so that's perfect. Pretty darn shocked. Ha!

Wallet: Chase $6,000 - Discover $1,500 - Walmart $2,200 - Voyage FCU $1,300 - Zales $2,300 - Elan Fin: $12,500(AU, reporting) - Chase $8,500 (AU, reporting) 1% UTL

Also, I never knew could combine chase limits. How soon can I combine a co brand card with this new freedom? My trip is going on the card in about a month.

You can combine IMMEDIATELY. Right after approval during business hours. I combined and closed. Don't even have my new card yet.

Re: Capital One - needing 0% Intro and higher limit!

Don't think you can combine co brand chase with a chase. Not surprise to see you get 6000 SL. I have sub 600 score and got a chase freedom about 2 weeks ago or so with a starting limit of 2500. When I applied for chase all I have was 1 capital one secured for 8 months 2 capital one unsecured for 1 month. Even though you got the chase already I would apply for capital one they grow pretty fast.

I moved my old Slate(Chase card) to my Amazon(co-branded) and closed it. Easy peasy.

Co-branded or branded you can combine without issues with chase
