Capital one CLI

I did a credit limit increase online, stated that it was pending. I know this isn't a denial because I had the same scenario 6 months ago and I had to wait for a letter to arrive in the mail to contact capital one regarding the cli. because of my fraud alert on my credit report. I've spoke to several departments and none can help me regarding the verification of my identity for the cli. executive office transfers me to a customer service rep in the philiipines who has no idea. fraud department has no idea. New applications department can't assist because its a not a new account. any ideas? does anyone have a number of a department that can help?

Sounds like you need to call the credit bureau, not CapOne

Re: Capital one CLI

Have you maybe tried their online chat? Its a bit difficult to get to but if you click where it says the name of your credit card once you're logged in to the right hand side somewhere in the middle header of the page you should see something that says "More card services" once you click on that on the bottom LEFT you'll see a little "talk bubble" as I like to call it and you're there to speak w/ a rep - I just did it 10 minutes ago to ask about my next CLI (for Capital One Credit Steps). Also, you should receive the document showing if you've been approved or not through your documents/statements link in your account.
