Card Match - Pre-Approval Site

Has anyone ever used CreditCards.com's card match? Does this legitimately give you a pre-approval for different cards or does it just suggest a few cards that you should try? Any reviews on it?

Re: Card Match - Pre-Approval Site

I do not know how reliable it is. They recently started pre approving me for Capital One cards, but when I go on the capital one pre approval site there are no offers for me.

7/14 Scores: EQ- 576, TU- 589, EX- 567
3/7/15 Scores: EQ- 666, TU- 680, EX- 669

last app 3/11/15

Re: Card Match - Pre-Approval Site

I've used and they gave me AmEx EDP, ED, Gold and Platinum along with Cap1. On Cap1 site I PreQual for QS but I want to wait to app til my score is close 700. I don't want to pay AF on anymore cards although I only have one with AF. It's a good site though.

Re: Card Match - Pre-Approval Site

I just tried out the site like 3 different times, and I'm a bit suspect about the offers they give me? they were showing Amex Gold and Platinum for me with a 611 Fico and some bad guys?  Plus they threw in some Capital One and First Premier Cards?

I believe that they show offers that suit them that the lenders are paying them the most to push?

Same here Nixon. I'm very tempted to jump on those First Premier offers though!!!! I need to cancel my Amex and Ritz card to only have First Premier.

Yeah! AF is even lower than the Ritz! and the low CL keeps me from buying things I don't need, like groceries.
