Re: Card selection and application timing advice

Didn't mention in here that I went for the AmEx BCE on Thursday, approved for $9100.

Just wanted to update this to include the information on my updated FICO 8 scores from the three CRAs:

EX: 812 (down from the slight bump it initially had to 815 with the low util)
EQ: 818
TU: 817

This is with the new $9100 balance showing from BoA with 3% utilization at the time. Now showing 2 new inquiries on both EX (from WF and AmEx) and EQ (from PenFed and US Bank).

The hit from having 4 new accounts report isn't show yet - if I remember I'll comment that when I see it.

Re: Card selection and application timing advice

Well the Propel showed up on Experian super fast, was expecting it to be a month or two.

My first statement was only for 7/3 to 7/8 and posted with a balance of $34.69, 1% utilization.

Experian FICO 8 dropped 18 points to 794...will be interesting to see what happens when the other three show up though!

As far as cards, Propel was the first to show up on the 3rd - a week after application. PenFed showed up on the 7th - 11 days after application, Altitude Go came today - 13 days after, and waiting on the AmEx BCE - at 7 days so far, I think the CSR said 7-10 days.
