Chances of getting Discover chrome card for students

TransUnion: 721

Equifax: 717

i have a credit tracker with capital one and the score is given by transunion and it says 660.... not sure why there is a big difference from creditkarma and the score with capital one credit tracker

I have 3/4 degoraty marks

BOA: Closed account, paid in full March 2014

Barclay: Closed account, paid in full Feb 2014

Collection paid in full on Exqifax and Experian

Settled card in less than full amount 2013

Reason for these still a student and was unemployed for a few years, but that doesnt make a difference to creditors, I have tried goodwill getures to get rid of them and used BBB and CFPB. 

I have 3 open lines of credit

Capital One Secured Card limit- 200, since Aug 2014

another account since 2011 limit 1k,  since 2011

capital one quick silver-4k  since Nov 2014

never missed a payment on any of these

What are my chances to get the discover chrome card for students?  I did the application over the phone and they said I would recieve an answer in the mail or to call back in 72 hours

Your guess is as good as anyones since none of us will know a for sure answer for you. Considering you already applied i would say its just a matter of waiting or calling back to find out the status of your application.

The thing with Credit Karma and CapOne scores is that they're FAKO scores (sure about the CK ones, and as far as I know the CapOne's as well), and so there's going to be some discrepency of scores based on their own internal calculations. 

Discover has been known to be nicer to students than to others when it comes to approving people for the Discover IT, but I can't say for sure because you do have some baddies on your report. Best of luck either way!

So I got an email this morning saying that I need to send proof that I am student and it said we just need a little more information to send your card.  And when I sent the vericiation it said my application will be processed within 5 to 7 days.... So im still not sure if I will get it or not
