Hello, so I looked at my credit report. The last opened credit card is 04/17/2018 - I am trying to get Chase card but I'v been over 5/24 until this year 2020. Since my last card open 04/17, does that mean today 04/23 I can apply for Chase card now or should I wait until May 1 to be sure?
Also can I apply 1 personal and 1 business on the same day to avoid two inquiries?
Thanks
You're good to go after 4/17, but waiting till the first is probably a safer route
If you're talking about applying for two Chase cards at the same time, dont.
The chance of both surviving is pretty slim, especially now.
Chase doesnt tolerate multiple apps for their cards, and in the current climate, they probably have finger on a trigger.
Pick whichever one you need at this time, and go with that one only.
Also chase has severly tightened approvals for business cards (especially with sole proprietorship), so it might be better to go with personal first, and establish some kind of relationship that way.
should I even attemp for business after the personals is approved as second app if biz doesn't approved, oh well! Or there's consequences?
Reread the above post. Pick the one card you want and would benefit the most .

There can be - sometimes it takes Chase' left hand a bit of time to figure out what the right hand has done. It's a YMMV senario but they've been known to approve the 2nd card and then circle back and close it a few weeks later.
BTW - if you decide to apply for a personal and a business card within a short timeframe don't expect to have them use a single HP. You really should wait at least 4 months and preferably at least 6 between applications.

Churning data points suggest that you need to attempt for the business one first as it will typically be denied if you do the personal first. YMMV
I strongly recommend only doing one Chase app at a time, or you're just going to end up with wasted pulls and shut down accounts in most cases. Just because you could do two apps succesfully years ago doesn't mean it's a great idea now.
As far as the timing question I would just wait until May 1. It's a few more days at this point and safer than hoping they count exactly.
I would probably wait an extra 30 days so that it doesn't seem like I'm too eager, and just waiting for it reach 24 months old. lol
