Re: Chase 5/24 question...

Also I already have a Hyatt @ 18k IHG @ 5.6k and Marriott @$ 15k

Income $88k a year.

Does Chase let you use House Hold income. Then I would be around 120k

Re: Chase 5/24 question...

I would say to go by actual opening date. Why risk it for less than a 1 month benefit? And my opinion on income would be to just use your income unless it is a joint application. Yes, my opinion is somewhat biased since I’m an attorney and would never advise anyone to be other than absolutely honest. Others here may have different opinions, and there may exist factors that would cause my opinion to change. Change the facts and I could change my advice! Good luck!

Attorneys... Honest???

Just kidding. Your right on waiting. Most of my newer cards were opened on the 10th. Just a couple days away.

Re: Chase 5/24 question...

LoL! The Attorney is correct! (no pun intended, I agree with you 100%) - You should put in your income unless Chase explicityly asks for Household income.

Also, why not wait until the end of the month, to be absolutely sure? Are you expecting some SUBs to go away in the "waiting period"?

Re: Chase 5/24 question...

That depends on the bank. Some allow household income and it's spelled out in the income section fine print. It usually talks about the types of income you're allowed to use and the ones you don't have to disclose like alimony, child support, etc.
It says that if you're over a certain age and can count on someone else's income for repayment, you may also include it.
So it's not really dishonest if the bank allows it.

Re: Chase 5/24 question...

I was at 7/24 the beginning of February and waited for the second anniversary for two new CC and then checked pre-approvals. Saw a specific APR and went for it at 5/24. Good luck!
