Chase Amazon

So I applied for the card and got the 7-10 day message however the letter I got said to call their fraud department. I ignored it for a couple of days then I had a few mins at work and thought well hell call them. I did and took about 5 mins on hold then the lady asked me if she could send me a text after asking me my name, BD, address etc. Anyway after the text she said I was approved and should get my card in a few days but could start buying on Amazon right away.

Anyway the purpose of this message is that if you get that letter that is not a denial then call them and get approved.

If u shop at Amazon a lot and have prime I'll suggest getting the stor card instead. It's 5% statement credit or 6-12 months interest free financing for purchase over 149 I think. The Amazon visa is only 3% back if used at Amazon and 1% elsewhere

Congrats.

I applied for this card a few weeks ago, wanted to grab the $50.00 gift card at checkout. Also got the 7 - 10 day notice. I just waited and did not call customer service, except the automated line. After about two weeks I got an approval. So another 7 - 10 day notice and approval from Chase. BTW the gift card was already showing in my Amazon account when I received the approval email.
