@chalupaman wrote:I'm not planning on closing any of my Chase cards, but since I'm not really using Ritz and AARP as much (I still put charges on them to keep them active though and will continue to do so anyway), I'm thinking about moving $4k over from the Ritz and $1k from AARP over to the CSP so I can have a $10k limit CSP there.
I already recently moved $1000 from Amazon over to the Freedom without a hitch and will move the rest of that card over later this month and close it entirely. The last thing I want to do is make Chase think I'm trying to churn.
I'm also planning on doing some CL consolidation with my Amex cards come June and close out Delta Skymiles.
Does this sound like a decent strategy? Any other suggestions for going about this?
Sounds like a good plan to me.

What do you think?
Try to do it all in one shot. The less AR's the better.
And honestly they care more about UR card churning. As long as you're keeping your UR cards open you should be fine for now.
Hey Nixon, so you DID get the Chase Ink!! Yay!

I deeeeed, I deeeeed!
Thanks guys!
I called JPM line and they were able to do it much quicker than SM and with no issues. It just takes a few minutes for everything to reflect properly. Chase Amazon has been closed out.

Ritz might just be worth keeping for the VASTLY superior CS.
I am going to try out Ink CS and see how it compares and will end up using that as my bellwether on whether to keep RC or not. Wish I could still get the JPM Select.

I have been trying to figure out what AR and UR are abbreviations for. Went to the abbreviations message and neither of these are there. This is driving me crazy. Will you please tell me what they stand for, Nixon.
