It's very possible that your Walmart score is old. It's very possible for your scores to drop 50 points in a couple of weeks. I'm not familiar with what FICO score Walmart provides though.
It more than likely said something to the effect of "Information based off your TransUnion Data" and then "Chase New Accounts Risk Score" (or something similar, cannot remember exact verbiage) is 603.
You have to look closely, but basically what they do is use information from a CRA to create a proprietary score for you based off of their own algorithm.
The CARS score is sensitive in my experience to these reasons, obviously there are more but my last app had my CARS score from TU almost 100 points lower although still approved

Call the Blackfoot number. My TU 645 EP 651 with 15+ inquires got approved and a CL of $2000. But I bank with them and they asked me questions about my bank account like deposits and current balance. I still say call that number and if one can't do it call again. I called over 5 times before they did it for me.
I call for reconsideration and they say my amazon and walmart cards are practically new and let see how go with that accounts and try again.
It's not about the score, unfortunately.
My score is high enough to be approved -- I think the thing they hate is the # of new accounts (4 or 5 in the past 3 months) and the number of inquiries, at least in my case.
My last recon call was "try again in 6 months after you've had experience with $5k limits, so we can see how you manage them."
It's more about your file than your score.
Sorry to hear that. have you tried to recon ?
