I would wait until you have a minimum 1yr credit history.Yeah. Maybe could have had better chances with the chase freedom or unlimited if you hadn’t gone for the Apple Card. Personally, I got the freedom in May but barely use it. Their 5% categories have been lame so far. Wish I had gotten the freedom unlimited but now I’m gonna have to garden for a while before applying for it, I believe.
@SEAlifer - You can PC it from Freedom to the FU. I did. I was tired of hunting down the catagories and having to sign up for them. NO HP to PC. It's a simple call. Just tell them it's not for you and how FU would fit your needs.
Good Luck!

@Anonymous wrote:You won't get approved. Chase likes to see a minimum of a year of history before approving for even their low tier cards. Trust me, it would be only a waste of an inquiry and you can't really recon it because they just don't like thin files.
+1

I’ll wait to see what the 5% category is for the last quarter of the year. If it isn’t useful to me I’ll call and ask them to do just that. Thanks!
I went the reverse, PC'd to Freedom from FU.
I can tell you its an easy process. I have several 1.5 & 2% cards. So it was completely redundant for Me.
I use The Freedom for 5% Gas Category in Rotation with Disco It.
Whats is silly, I have $30.6K limit on Freedom for Fuel![]()
With your recent inquiries and limited credit history I would say your chances are slim. That being said Chase is big on the 5/24 rule which means if you have opened more than 5 CC's within the last 24mo you're definitely not getting approved. I would recommend waiting about another 6mo and not opening anymore CC's. Welcome to the forum BTW....
Thanks for the feedback guys, it's been really helpful and the best choice for me right now is to just wait till I establish more history.
