710 EX FICO (Chase pulled it the second I app'ed). Already have the CSP with a zero balance. 11% Util. 87k income. 12 inq (three in the last six months). No baddies. Well over 5/24 but from what I understand that's irrelevant to the IHG.
Got the 30 days message. Called a recon number immedately and was told that it was too early in the process to see any details.
What do you guys think are my chances here? How long before I call again? I heard a 30 day notice is a positive over the 7-10 day one.

Sounds like a pretty good chance to me, I'd expect a $10k+ SL.
Chase usually HPs one bureau and SPs another. In my case they HP TU and soft EX for my IHG. Any baddies/issues on TU or EQ? If they are consistent and not reporting anynegative information, I also believe you have a strong chance of approval.

I think you'll be fine. I was instantly approved for the Chase Hyatt card today with an EX score that's 5 points higher than yours, 9 INQs (none in the last 6 months), WELL over 5/24, but my util gets rounded up to 1% and the one card that is reporting a balance is $500 / $20,000. My income is about $10,000 higher. I was approved for the Ritz with A LOT more RECENT new accounts and INQs and it wasn't a borderline approval either. Any cards have high util that make up your 11% total? Good Luck!
*EDIT* I don't know if it matters, but the only other big difference that I can think of is that you have 1 more card than me, but a little over $100,000 less in credit lines. Maybe they are checking out if they want to give you more credit, while they're already one of your highest limits / most exposure?
The 30 day message is usually a good sign.
Apped for chase amazon got the 30 message and the next day got the approval.
Great: Instant approval
Good: 30 day message, 2 weeks message on automated line
Bad (most of the time): 30 day, 7-10 day on automated line
