Just for data points. I had the same prequals that many have been seeing with solid APRs. I apped with a 17.74 for and the wheels spun for about 5 seconds before I received the "need more info" message. It seems a couple others with similar scores had instant approvals but I am the prequal is not always solid DP apparently. Two HP's but that is not the end of the world for me at this point.
Pulled TU 648 & EX 640
INQ's: EX 2 TU 4
Less that 1% Utilization
I am 3/24... still
Multiple 6YO Derogs
Chase Business and Personal Customer for 3 Months
Prequals started showing yesterday just like other folks.
I did call the automated line and got the 7-10 day message. I will update when I find out definitive result.

There has been a huge chase glitch since last night . Almost all chase members are getting a lot of prequal offers. Some with horrible credit got approved with 20k limits 😳
If that is the case, I wish the glitch carried over to me! I've been having the same 3 prequals for what feels like months (United, Marriott and SW). I'm looking to get the Hyatt.
Good luck to the OP!

Are there other sites out there discussing this?

@Anonymous where you reading this at? Source please. APR's are glitchy, but everything else seems to be in order. Yes some people with 640ish scores are getting 5k CL, but that is fairly normal for chase as they arent the most strict lender when it comes to profiles. What they are strick about is 5/24 unless you are indeed pre-qualified/approved which then gets around the rule which has been known for quite sometime. Also havent seen any 20k approvals on this site or DOC with bad profiles. I think I am the highest on this site so far at 19k, but have excellent credit. Be interested on the other site or source you are referring to.

It’s for chase customers and they are basically getting prequalified for a ton of offers they didn’t qualify for. Hundreds of posts about it on Facebook. It’s crazy!
If that is the case, thank you Chase for the wasted HP's!
I hope no one gets yanked.

Can you quantify what you mean by awful credit? Below 600's? Or are you talking in the mid 600's getting approved if so as stated chase is known to do this. Be interesting if a glitch, but i doubt it as I certainly got two hp's from it.. Already show on my online account etc. I think 19k for my approval is about right for my profile/income etc and compared to other chase cards and other lenders. I know their have been some denials as well not all are approved from the little info i have found so far on DOC/Reddit.. Havent done any of the facebook groups though.
