Someone in group had 602 and was approved . A lot the members had prequal for cards they are for 700+. Congrats on ur approval 😌. I don’t bank with chase but thought it was interesting
appreciate the info. so not necessaily a glith i could see possibly someone with a 602 being approved for a card at bare min 5k limit on said card or 2k limit if platinum level card of theirs. Depends on scoring model they used as well as 602 could be a fako or a mortgage score where their 08's could be a bit higher, etc.. Certainly something changed with Chase. Whether it was those 3 cards being United, SW, Marriott expanding business is to be determined. Chase usually doesn't make these type mistakes if indeed it is one. Time will tell though i suppose.

As far as approvals themselves, if they are approved, they are approved.
There's always the chance Chase will rescind the cards for those who didn't truly qualify. It happened awhile back when there was tons of hype on the BoA Merrill card, for example. Some got the approvals taken away with an "approved in error" letter being sent out. That wasn't Chase, and I'm not saying it's the norm, but it certainly could happen - hopefully it doesn't, though.

Hey, I recently got the dreaded 7-10 day with my CSP app. But my letter showed up and they wanted me to verify my identity and poof, they approved me on the phone! So it’s not an immediate nail yet.
Thanks. I guess we will see what happens. I will update the thread.
Can call the verification # in Sticky today as well and see if they need any information from you and if they do well you will know if they transfer you to lending not good or just await the letter.
