Hi FICO fam,
I used the Chase pre qualify links and it showed me like 4-5 different products.
Went for it and got it with the "we need more time" so... can confirm that the 5/24 rule still applies even with the pre qual links
Dont do it! LOL

Thanks for the information. Please post the update when you have the final word from Chase. I am also over 5/24 and it is showing 5 cards are pre-approved.

Care to share where you found the Chase Pre Approval link? I've looked in the forum and can't find it. I am a Chase Banking customer and heard someone say to access it through your online banking account. Accurate, or not?

I think you're referencing the senario where an existing accountholder logs in online and from the main menu select the "Just for You" option along the left side to see if any cards with a green or black star are displayed as the star signifies a preapproval. There is also the publicly accessible way to check by going to https://www.chase.com/preapproved and fill out the online form which includes authorizing Chase to make a soft pull and check for preapprovals.
One can always go to a brick & mortar branch as well to ask a CSR to check if there are any preapproval offers.

Well, if you are interested in getting an Amazon card, Chase tends to be more lenient even with >24.
