Hey everyone.
Quick question- are Chase pre-approvals pretty solid? Let me go on record now that I understand that there are no guarantees, even with pre-approvals. I signed in to my Chase account a couple of days ago to make a payment and it appears that Chase is really wanting me to apply for the CSR or CSP. I have banners on top of every page, "offers" on the right side of the primary account page and offers showing on the Credit Journey page.
I probably won't bother persuing an app since Chase and I have a love/hate relationship. Be that as it may, I thought that I might get some opinions since I will start traveling again in the future and have nothing in the way of miles cards. Even if I do start traveling some, it won't amount to much for the next few years.
So, are the odds pretty good as long as there have been no file changes?
Based on many accounts I've seen here, Chase pre-approvals seem to be pretty solid.
As both @JoeRockhead & @fury1995 say, their pre-approvals are pretty solid. I got my CFU last August from a green check mark pre-approval. The pre-approval came with a fixed APR and I got that same APR once I applied. My profile hadn't changed in the period from when pre approval appeared and I applied ( which was 2 months later).
