What does "heavy spend" mean in terms of utilization% ?

i just received my CSP back in 10/2021 with 15k SL. i was at ~150% utilization the first two months, paid in full before, and was bumped to $23,400 limit in 1/2022. have put at least 100% of new limit each month so far in 2022, but no additional auto cli yet. i thought ive read here that limit increases are 6mo apart minimum?
Based on a few comments I received on my post, I called the telephone number listed on the back of my card. The representative indicated that a hard credit pull would be drawn prior to their decision in which I authorized; however I was denied due to the dreaded 5/24 Rule of Chase. However, in lieu of a CLI they offered me a 0% Apr on balance transfer until 2023. Go figure, lol 😝
I can only assume it means heavy usage on large purchases near or at your credit limit, and subsequent immediate payoff's on those spends in order to avoid a large utilization rate usage.

Sorry to hear the CLI request was not approved and thank you for the DPs. It has been reported in the past that CLI requests can sometimes be denied because of the 5/24 restriction. Just FYI @SDMarik & @SouthJamaica.

From my experience, I have received auto CLI chase when spending 40 to 60% of your CL each month for atleast 2 to 3 months.
However I did receive an auto CLI on my CSP for $10k (bumped from $20k to $30k) and I was spending less than $1k a month on it.
