Refresh my memory? do you have a bank account with chase? if so, do you have a local branch to go to? yes? then go to the local branch and ask them to load you documents via their i-Vault. They'll know what you mean. if you do not have an account, perhaps go to a local branch if you have one and open an account and fund it with some cash and then ask to load your docs via the i-vault. I did this morning and i will call them tonight as their Lending department told me to do it this way they'll get the documents attached to your profile in 4-6 hours much faster than the several days it takes them to tag a fax to your profile. just an idea. best of luck!

No I don't. Capital One does a much better job; they sent me an e-mail after receiving my application, then they sent me an e-mail when the needed to verify my information with a link to where I could upload the documents. After uploading the documents online they verified them in a few minutes (after I called). Why can't Chase do that? It's like they are working in the pre-internet era.

I feel your pain. Chase just has a different way of handling things. IMO you should probably have an account with Chase and that would make them act more favorably to you. Just my two cents. But then again, i've had a chase account for 12 years and a cc with them almost 4 years with no derogs. Chase likes history with them.

APPROVED! CSP $5k CL! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went to a bank branch where they dialed into lending for me. Lending got my drivers license to update my application address. They decline me again due to 'too many inquiries' again...this is why they declined me the first time and recon'd. So I explained I had been a long time customer of chase and had a checking and savings account since 2004 and a chase freedom card since 2013. I said i would be moving to switzerland for work and would love a card I could use with them that had no FTF's. I said I would be willing to move credit from my freedom to the CSP. They gave me $2500 and moved $2500 from my freedom and now i'm the proud owner of a CSP! Thanks for all the input everyone!

Congratulations! I can't wait to hear from them.... if they ever get my documents
I'm calling again tomorrow, that's the last day I should have to wait. I did send them again just in case, twice today. It's making me frustrated because they haven't been very helpful at all, when I asked what documents I could send they gave me different answers... I hope that's not a testimony of their customer service.

How's Chase Customer service? Because so far it is one big piece of crap. At this point I'm turned off by their service, I don't want anything anymore. I called and they told me they don't have the documents yet, and it can take another week, so two weeks total. First they told me it took 7 days, not they tell me it takes 2 weeks just to get the documents. Are they freaking kidding me????? Every time I call I get a different answer, and no one can help. 2 weeks to receive a Fax? so what's the **bleep** purpose of faxing stuff? Might as well have sent a courier in a horse!!! I thought Chase had good customer service...

again, as I said above, best to go into a local branch otherwise...they don't have the best customer service IMO either. Sorry you've had such a problem with them. I did too. Patience sometimes too works and calling at different times of the day. I seem to have finally contacted someone competent enough to get my documents yesterday prior to then denying me again to which I had them recon' for a 3rd time and they FINALLY approved once they saw I had 5 figures saved up in a bank account with them. I have no idea what their systems look like but they seem a little stuck in the stone age.

CONGRATULATIONS OP !
I pre-equaled the Freedom andCSP. Went for the Freedom as it fits my needs better. Got the .."You will hear from us in 7 days, some applications may take up 30 days" ! Didn't get a ...7-10 message ! It's been 4 days now, still nothing from them.
When I still do the prequalifiy at their site, I still get the Freedom , Freedom Unlimited , Slate and CSP.
So, even though my pre-equaled have increased , I've still not heard from CHASE !
**Edit to say :
I just called their "status line", got the, "you'll hear from us within 7-10 days ", as we review your application " !
Hum !
Again , congratulations OP , glad you hung in with them !
