Chase app--should I apply for 2

i applied for Chase Freedom Unlimited qlast night and was approved SL 9k, very happy about that.  My question is, should I go back in apply for a second Chase card today for 1 HP?  My goal is to have 4 Premiere cards and then go to the garden for awhile.  I have 3 now including my Chase Freedom.

If you are under 5 new credit cards reporting in the last 2 years, and they have another card you can use... Sure.

I don't see why not. If you planned on getting another at some point anyway, you might as well try to save yourself a HP.

Don't just think about combined HPs. Is there another Chase card you actually want and that will benefit your spending?

IMO sometimes people worry too much about combined HPs and not enough about whether the cards will actually suit them. You may get a second card without an extra HP, but it's still a new account reporting, so it's good to make sure it's something that's useful to you.

I'd be prepared for another HP. Chase isn't particularly known to give multiple cards with one pull.

When did you app for your Chase Freedom card? Chase will decline a third application if the three are too close together.

Hmmm, was approved earlier today for a Freedom card, and CreditCards.com CreditMatch recommended me some other Chase cards. Let me know how it goes. I wouldn't mind another Chase card.
