Chase decision within the next 30 days message :(

FWIW my CSP was saying 30 days for 6 days, then suddenly changed to "You have been approved!".

I have seen posts from quite a few people stating that they were getting the 30 day message for pretty much 30 days before being approved, or it switched to 2 weeks, etc so I would at the very least wait until you get something concrete.

I just called chase and the service rep said the 7-10 days message the status line gave me is not correct. He says it shows I will hear from them within 30 days. So who know ?

Got a latter from Chase today and they need to verify my address. They want me to send them something showing I live at the address on the application. Not denied just yet.

that's generally a good sign - they probably want to approve you but need to verify that little detail

Sent Chase the documents that they asked for and now the status line is saying they will notify me within 30 days. It went from 30 to 7-10 and back to 30.

Hi naek. I am not the original poster. However, as the thread is a little dated. He or she might not see it. There is thread in the Credit Application board that has numbers for many different credit card companies.
