Chase from 2 week message to 30 days??

Hi, just wanted to ask if this was something that has happened.

I applied for the Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card last week I was not given an instant decision at that time. 
I got the typical "Thank you for your interest in a Chase Credit Card" type message. Then I tried to call the automatic status checker phone number. The system told me that they will contact me in appx. 2 weeks. Yesterday night, I called and all it gave me was the 30 days message. It was the same 30 day message today as well. I called the credit card CSR and they told me that the application is still under reivew. 
However, I have been getting mixed signals since when I checked my Chase account last week, the "Chase Ultimate Rewards" box turned into "Rewards" so, I presumed this was good news. But, now with the change from 2 weeks to 30 days, I am wondering if something happened.

First message ( two weeks) meant additional review is required. 

It can be application review, or identity verification. 

30 days is exactly what it means, your application is not completed yet, and that could be for variety of reasons. 

They are giving themselves extra time, and that's neither good or bad sign. 

If approved, it will show up in your account or you can periodically check via automated phone system. 

If nothing is required from you, I would leave them alone, last thing you need is rushing someone to make a determination on the spot.
