I checked for chase pre-approved cards and showed me approved for 4 cards. The 2 that seems odd to me is the slate edge for 2k and the csp for 10k. Why is there such a big difference is sl between the 2 cards?
Not sure, but the CSP does require a minimum $5k if you're approved, per Chase's own criteria.
I understand that but they are offering me 5k above minimum, and only 2k for slate edge.
Slate has always been a popular balance transfer, lower interest card, so maybe they're just being careful? Or have different underwriting criteria based on multiple factors. Or just being Chase... they really are awful. I don't have $0.03 in their bank. I just swipe their cards 🤣

They would probably you rather do the spend on the CSP. It's an AF card, and has less incentive to just BT and park money there with 0% apr. As others have said, the minimum for CSP is $5,000. The $10,000 is nice though, thats the minimum for the CSR so if you ever wanted to upgrade you could without having to waste a HP on a new app, or have to HP on a cli to get to $10k and then PC.
