Relax, you'll probably get it. I still say last year was the golden year for getting easy credit. Things seemed to have tightened up a bit since the SCT craze. I was only rejected for the NBA AMEX during these 2 years. All other applications were instant approvals. It was such a fun ride too. I wonder what happened to Ron1. Dude had 150 cards to deal with during the easy credit period.

Oops !
Sorry !
Excuse this question if it's ignorant, but what would be the purpose of acquiring the FU card if you already have the QS card? Don't they essentially accomplish the same thing? Maybe if it was because of a sign up bonus or if there are some perks that one has over the other that I may not know about, but when it comes to 1.5% back aren't they just about equals?
I just applied for the Freedom not the Unlimited .
You are right about the same benefits (as far as I can tell ), just wanted my foot in the door with Chase.
THANKS
After waiting 5 days and not hearing from CHASE , I just called the status line.
It said they are still reviewing the application and I should be hearing from them in 7-10 days, not a good sign !
In the meantime , yesterday , I did their pre-equal site , again , and was pre-equaled for : Freedom , Freedom Unlimited , Slate and CSP . This is up 2 from the original Freedom and CSP .
Never had any dealings in the past with Chase, never burned them, owe them nothing!
Oh well , 742 on EX, 761 on TU, no baddies , QS1 at $2,000.00 and Care Credit at $9,600 is fine with me !
I'll ride the so called "sub prime " cards as my money is as good with them as with Chase !
Next..
How old is your file and what's your AAoA? Unless you are > 5/24, I don't see why you wouldn't get approved for a Chase product.

if it makes you feel any better i went through the same headache recently with Chase and they declined me 3 times on the same app within 1 month but I kept explaining the reason for recon and thenFINALLY got someone to approve me 2 days ago for the CSP at $5K
