Chase sp pending

Hi I am working on my wife's credit to build up a history for her long story short we bank with chase and went on her account to pay off our fu card and got an offer for sp card. So I said why not I clicked on it to see what terms and everything got a solid apr not a range so I thought it was solid.
Got a 30 day massage and now when I call I get 7-10 day massage.
What do you think we should do? Is is a denial?
Stats are ex 771 thru amex site

Amex prg charge around 10k monthly
Wells Fargo 3.5k
Chase fu 8k
Au amex platinum charge around 50k monthly

Also when I spoke to a person she just said it only shows the 7-10 days

No only 2 new accounts in the past 3 years

I thought it was verification like the first time around but they said once your are an existing customer no verification needed. Is that correct?

Ok so called chase and they denied app
Gave no reason. Should I wait for the letter to call recon?

I'd call recon today.

So called recon they transferred to verification I guess doing it through online account it was missing a few details. Got approved 20k limit
Now I'm happy
