Chase time between apps

I know it's 30 days. But I applied on June 19. Am I good to apply today or do I have to wait until tomorrow?

Trying to apply before my amex cards hit my report. I applied for those 2 on June 19 as well. So follow up if I can't get definite answer to 1st question- how fast will the amex cards hit? (Chase card hit today)

I know this answer is already out there somewhere but searching anything with chase and 30 just gets you posts about their approval status policies

Thanks in advance

Technically, today should be 30 days since your application. However, if you just applied for 3 cards in the past month, I do not recommend applying for another Chase card. They may not see the two AMEX cards yet if you apply today (I assume they were SP approvals?), but they will see them when they check up on you and SP your credit report in a few weeks or even months. That's enough for them to close both new Chase cards.

Re: Chase time between apps

They did a hard pull. Both amex and chase pulled ex.

I've heard of them closing accts like that but thought that was for extreme cases. Didn't think 4 would do it. Definitely don't want that to happen. Appreciate the advice.

Sure, no problem. If AMEX did a hard pull, then it doesn't even matter if they're on your reports or not. Chase will see those inquiries and know you applied for something. I would sit tight and not apply for anything for a long while.

No, they wont know new accounts are about to report.

There are HPs for purposes other than CC and that purpose isnt clear unless there is a manual review. HP is just a HP.

Besides, one SP and puter will know. Also, they dont even have to SP, Chase does utilize alerts, so if there were conditions set at approval, this would be one (unpleasant) way to find out.

@Anonymous 4 is excessive. While it's not extreme, it's up to you to decide whether you want to risk denial or have them take a second look at both accounts. Or, nothing may happen.

My Amex inquiry shows as a credit card. Wouldn't Chase see the same thing?

Not really. Human usually isn't looking at the app, computer only care that there is an inquiry and date it happened.

That's why you can get denied for cards when auto shopping, an inquiry is just an inquiry to a machine.

When you or any other human look at the report, you might be able to tell the purpose, like your Amex HP.

Some CUs don't even specify what the HP is for, so that another scenario to keep in mind.

Got it. I wasn't thinking of the automated aspect of it. And just like you said, CU pull is unspecified.
