I received a letter in the mail today stating that my application from October, 2016 was denied in error....and to sign the enclosed form which just had my pre-printed name and address, and they would open my account within 30 days. Has anyone else experienced this?
That's exactly what my friend and I were discussing. They must be hurting for business.6 months later. No phone call or anything.
No way would i go for a card 6 months after the fact out of the blue. No, i say move on but to each their own

Just an update to my initial post...I sent the letter back in April. I called Citgo about a month ago, and they didn't have anything on file regarding the letter I received and told me that it must have been lost and I was welcome to re-apply. Two days ago, I start getting alerts that a new account had been added to my credit files. It was Citgo ofcourse, and I got my card in the mail today. Weird case..but after almost a year, the account is finally open...with a $500 limit. I have two other gas cards, so this will just be used to boost my utilization.
