Citi Home Depot Credit Card

Haven't signed into this account since way back in June but on finally signing in lately i see it's been sort of updated and revamped. Kool beans ok. Also noticed they have a Credit Limit Increase LINK too. Has anyone used it yet to try for a raise?

If you click that link what's on the other side of it?

Re: Citi Home Depot Credit Card

I of course used the link awhile back, lol..Its a HP, so if you can afford it, then do it. I don't know if I care for the revamping of it...whenever I go to log off, it takes FOREVER for the page to close down...I practically have to restart my computer....

Basically...the CLI link, has you fill in some questions, like how much you're asking, etc...then submit. Usually you'll get a message back stating you'll receive a response later. Anytime I ever did it, I got an email within like 30 min with either the approved amount, or a "document" with a number to call for verification, and then I got the approved amount.

If you do it, ask high like synch, at least $20-$25k, they will approve amount or counter back with what they can. Good luck!

Thanks for that pizza Smiley Happy

I was curious of course but not quite sure what to expect. I only use my HD card during Spring and Summer months mostly so it's nice to know there might be a fair chance sometime of getting the current $5K bumped up a bit when needed. Too bad they HP for everything and even if you breathe on them wrong Smiley Very Happy

Re: Citi Home Depot Credit Card

I called HD credit today to verify a promo on my account.

The rep was cheerful and friendly so when done I asked them about about the link and about getting a SP for cli.  The rep said they had to do a HP and the link was too.

Might be a std response - I saw another post saying someone did get a SP from the link.

The FAQ on the sidebar says:

How do you determine my eligibility for a credit limit increase?

Our Credit Department may check your credit history. We may also consult credit information already on file and financial information you provide during the request process.

Sounds to me like implicit permission for a HP.

Without a doubt.

Too bad that they're nowhere near as nice as Synchrony Lowes is Smiley Happy
