Does any one know the ease or difficulity in getting the citi cards? I went to the pre approval site and I got 4 offers
1. Thank you Preferred 12.99 APR
2. Thank you Premier 13.99 APR
3. Double Cash 12.99 APR
4. AAdvantage 13.99 APR
5. Simplicity Card 12.99 APR
Do any have higher limits than others? I did not get a range of interest rate just one rate.

Citi can be a little stickler when it comes to applying for their first card. Usually once you are a citicardholder your approval chances may increase for another card. In my experience if you are pre-qualified for all those cards then i would go ahead and apply for one. You ask which give out higher limits but then ask yourself for what purpose you want one of their cards. If you are looking for a plain 0% APR balance transfer card then go for Simplicity. You want cash back then obviously the DC card. It really depends what kind of rewards you can take advantage of and you can benefit. Now if you dont really card and looking for a potential high limit start it seems the Aadvantage or Premier would be your picks. Looking at past approvals here and other sites it seems there annual fee cards seem to give out the most of course barring your credit is to their liking. Citi tends to pull EX/EQ or both. They dont like you having no more than 6 inquiries in the last 6 months on the bureau they are basing their approval on. But i really feel you will have no problem getting approved. Good luck and hope this helped a little.
Thanks for the feedback. I intend to app in January I will have 4 inquires on each of my reports then. Secondly I don't know if that helps but I have a best buy card that has a 1k limit. it's over a year old. I used it once and paid it off. That is backed by citi correct? Hope that helps with having a relationship with them.

i honestly think you will have no problem getting one of their cards. Best Buy is backed by Citi but its their retail division which is seperate from their main cards. But like i said, come January or when you decide you will have no problem. Heck, i even think if you were to app today you will probably still be approved...
Thanks
