I applied for the citibank secured card on 12/2...got the message "application needs further processing" so i get an email today to call...they wanted to verify my income and housing, so i did. At that point the lady said the app was neither approved nor denied. She told me to wait for the letter in the mail or call/check online.
My Experian score at time of app was 564, up 28 points from where i started.
What are my chances? is this a bad sign? What was your score if you were approved for the secured card?
I think I'm approved I called today they said they are just waiting on the deposit to clear.
If they requested additional infor you are in. Keep us posted. You are on your way up from here. Citi is a great bank to get your foot in the door.
