Citibank store card application

I apply for a citibank store card and it gives me the following message

we are unable to provide an instant decision on your application and will contact you with a decision in a few weeks 

Is that good or bad?

Sounds like a denial. At the same time, I've also heard of people waiting that long and a card just showing up one day.

You'd have to wait until you obtain confirmation from the issuer through the mail.  Potentially, the letter might indicate it was not approved or they may require additional information.

Also when you say Citi "store" card, which CC are you referring to?

I'm gonna guess best buy because I believe they've changed their language to what was posted.
