Comenity CLI denials for newer accounts

Mine have been soft pulls as well. I guess I should’ve said The general rule of thumb is 9 months. I find getting a cli with Commenity is like pulling teeth regardless of how long I’ve had my cards, my credit score etc.

I've never before heard of this "general rule of thumb." I have read plenty of accounts to the contrary, including in this thread. As always, YMMV.

Just because you’ve never heard of it does that make it not true? ... the general rule of thumb is 9 months. I’d appreciate if you didn’t reply again. I’m not trying to have a debate, just trying to help someone out. The bottoms line was to try getting a cli through that number

Since I got an email there was activity on this thread, thought I'd update, my cli have continued almost monthly and now sit at 24,100. I was about mid 8k when I responded to this question.

Btw, I've heard 9 mos before cli shared here now and then, but have not experienced same. I've gotten cli on most sct cards almost immediately following activation. I think it is profile specific.

I've read on here that the first Overstock cli is usually around four months. I got my first cli at 6mos but that was 2 years ago.

I got my 1st CLI w/OS at 50 days, but I hadn't asked sooner. I've read (here) of others who got their's sooner. YMMV.
