Comenity Cards- Ulta and Venus CLI

Hi - I have quite a few Comenity cards and they have all seemed to be generous with their CLI's, except for Ulta & Venus.

I have had Ulta since 6/18/20 & Venus since 12/1/19.

Ulta is stuck at $500 & Venus @ $250 ... maybe Ulta is too early but I have had this card with them in the past and remember this experience about it never going up. Meanwhile all of my other Comenity cards are progressing very nicely.

Last reasons for denial:

Ulta - Your account was recently opened - how long before they usually start issuing CLI's?

Venus - Delinquent or derogatory status is too recent (I haven't had anything like this in YEARS now), Lack of first mortgage account information (why would they care if I have a mortgage or not, not everyone buys a house?), Too many inquiries (THAT might be true, I did just recently get a vehicle so I'm sure that didn't help - but it was like this prior to that too.

Any insight?

While a variety of their CCs, especially their majors, can grow astronomically and with greater frequency, not all of them follow those similar patterns.   A lot of it depends on the specific CC portfolio as well as your overall profile.   That said, you can check out the following thread to see if there's similar DPs applicable to your situation and the CCs in question.

It could just be that they're being more cautious with giving CLI's. However when you say many Comenity how many and what are the limits on each if you have a lot of cards they may just not let your grow or at least not for a while.
