If you have access to your credit report, through Credit Karma or FreeCreditReport.com or something, then you can see that you'll be able to have a soft pull credit limit increase. I just read another thread where someone got a soft pull credit limit increase through Capital One, I think, and all of their reports are frozen. I don't see why Comenity wouldn't be able to do the same. It only won't go through if they need to analyze your report.
