Just reporting back in. I tried for my NY&Co CLI and got approved for $300. The red instant message is gone. I also just hit 6 months with my Victoria Secret and got an instant $300 increase. Maybe it was just a glitch or I was trying to early or maybe they're tired of sending out denials so they stopped letting us try all together when we're trying to early.
Wow that's nice and good for you to keep at it.
I know that it was a long and I do mean long drawn out wait when I was climbing up with mostly Comenity Retail Catalog Cards but they did come through for me and helped a lot with managing credit.
Of course you must stick with it and looks like that's just what you're doing and getting some results.
OK Folks!
Looks like Comenity didn't wait until the next statement cut as I was resigned to wait for.
I guess they really were behind schedule this time and more than just a few days because I just tried again and this happened!
No Red Box this time.
i keep getting that message, but i thought it was just because my accounts are on a payment plan thing, lol.

While I can't with any real certainty say for sure just how the Store Card(s) schedule comes around, I can say (for comparison) that my last Visa CLI before yesterday's request then approval was July 20.
The math from that goes past 4 months and some days easy.

i want to up my limits but i know i should NOT because i'm a terrible spender and non-payerbacker, hence the payment plan.
Stick around and read up as much as you can and then put into practice smart management of finances.
The entire purpose of building up credit is to reach a point where you put bad spending and bad paying behind you for good.
Try it
Hi CM7,
Reporting back in, sorry for the delay but just returned from our trip!
The CLI Request for Total Rewards Visa was successful once the statement cut, which would have been around the 4 month plus 6 day mark. I received a $2,000 CLI, but received the red banner message saying that I was ineligible at the 4 month and 4 day mark.
I guess this just shows us that Comenity can be unpredictable and to keep trying. Also, your theory that they may be lengthening the amount of time between granting CLI's may be the case as well.
I did just have a $200 charge on the card that was paid in full right before statement cut, but am not sure if that contributed to the CLI or not. I usually only have small charges on the card and PIF each month.
Just tried for a cli on my HSN card. Was denied for an increase in Sept so I figured id try agin. No red message but got 7-10 day notice. Why cant they just say denied. I jist got two preapproval letters for SGV and TRV and was sct approved for Good Sam / Camping World but I cant get a stinking $200 boost to HSN

That's a very good question. There must be a reason and those are normally via first class mail.
One thing is for sure. The way we might expect almost never lines up with the results.
