Comenity cards- no CLI luv :(

Agreed. I waited 6 months after opening my Sportsman's Visa, then hit the Luv Button to receive a CLI. I did not try before the 6 months.

ever since ive had my overstock ive received a cli every month. even on day one from getting the card i received an increase

May be too early like others are saying but try calling the automated number on back of your comenity cards. say Credit line incease when asked why you are calling. When prompted on if you have an increase amount in mind say "No". This method works well for me. Good luck!

My OS has been stuck at 4K for 7 weeks now.

Looks like i need to buy something again but of course, Amazon beats them on price.

I got Comenity CLI after I was approved for these two cards. Total Rewards Visa-Initial limit $6k set up account asked for increase and approved to $7200. Overstcock same thing intial limit $6K but only receive a $400 increase.

Not always Nixon. . . OV has some good items and sometimes they do beat Amazon.

Do yourself a favor by buying something and pay it off in 2-3 months.

I bought a table and in 3 months my CLI went up $900month (granted this was after 6 statements).

Good luck.

One other thing. . .besides everyone jumping up for joy for their Comenity CLIs especially with J Crew - to each his own, but really dumb to keep pushing the luv button for the thrill -- but buy nothing. Buy a toenail clipper at least and pay it off. They gave you credit, now use it once in awhile.

I do agree with that....it's bad to continue to click the luv button expecting a CLIs and not purchase anything from the company that gave you credit.  My J. Crew and Buckle accounts are used mainly for gifts BUT I don't click the luv button every month or every 3 months "just because" either.

No more button love!

Comenity CLI button refers me to the number on the back of my card for each credit limit increase I request.  I called the numbers today for the following:

Sportsman Guide- Hard Pull.  System checks out your credit every I think 6 months for an increase.  But rep assures me a hard pull can be done at any time! 

One Stop Plus/Full Beauty-  Would need a hard pull.

Avenue- Hard Pull.

Brylane-Hard Pull.

HSN- Hard Pull.

Overstock- Automatic Love from button. A couple hundred dollars ( $200?)  

I requested for all my GE cards and I received fabulous increases with no hard pulls except for Old Navy (kind of weird).

I got an immediate increase on my OS card by hitting the LUV button, but on the BrylaneHome it gave me the 7-10 days message.

It can be hit or miss, but if you are like I am, we want immediate gratification. Patience? Who needs patience, LOL.

I have had my Comenity cards for just a month now and I got increases on Overstock and J Crew, both 300.00 each.  When I hit the Love button, it is a no go!  I have to call and get the increases through the automated line.  When they ask if you have a particular amount of  increase say no, they will not counter.  I had read some post regarding the 31 day increases and it worked for some cards.  I can't get Vic. secrets or Brylane Home to work and I'm not even going to try the Visa cards. I will wait the 6 months.  try the automated line.  Good Luck!
