They asked how much I want for my CL for PLOC, so I told them 'The Moon' also trying to figure how to drop the phrase 'out of this world' into the app somewhere...
Stil waiting on approval for CC?
That $30K will be worth it.

I wish there reward program was a little better. But I guess as long as they are giving out huge limits......
I don't really think people join CU's for the rewards programs. It's more for the BIG TL's (for utilization or balance tranfer purposes) and great rates on mortgage and auto financing.
Man, the hits just don't stop So I FINALLY get my membership application after getting on the chat and asking the rep to expedite my application. But it turns out that they weren't able to use my Paypal to fund the account (which is ironic, since I selected that method during my application because I thought it would be faster and easier...), and so before I can do anything else, I have to get FIVE STUPID DOLLARS into this account. So I called up the CU and explained the situation to the CSR, and she said they couldn't process a credit/debit funding over the phone, but I could either mail in a check or money order, visit a location or partner location to deposit in person (but they are all closed for the day), or push a payment over through my primary bank's Bill Pay. So pretty much, all of the most inconvenient options are available to me. Why do they even offer Paypal as an option if they aren't going to allow it??
I'm like 95% sure that once I finally have everything in place, the SP app bonanza will be over and done.

Open a savings $5, it is a SP then once that is open and you get your confirmation of approval apply for CC and should still be SP from what people are saying.
If this is a HP I'm going to hunt you down.
I stepped out of the garden last night.
It was a HARD PULL.

You applied for membership and then for the CC after membership was approved?

Correct.
About 5 hours apart. Membership, SP. Credit, HP - showed up this morning.
Well that's the first instance I've seen of it happening amongst several different sites.
Hopefully your HP is fruitful.
If it's any consolation, a single HP is essentially meaningless in any tangible way in regards to your credit.
In this case, risk << reward.

I've read here and on the other forum that there have been HPs. I'm definitely not the first.
$6,000 - showed up just now. I'm not sure it was worth it for a line less than 5 figures.
It does appear to be your highest reporting limit, and it's a much better result than a denial.
You can always ask for a review of the limit through SM.
Maybe the gravy train is slowing down.
