Well looks like I'll probably be pending overnight since it's after 6PM EST. I already pre-uploaded ID & proof of residency and if they need proof of income they can go to hell. I don't send that to anyone sans maybe AMEX and JP Morgan. I usually understate by a large margin because whenever I put my real income they all wanna see it.
I was on the phone with them not too long ago (5:45 EST); might try calling.

I'm not going to push it. This is usually about the time I get calls from Capital1, Barclays, BoA, etc... just as the sun is rising over Bangladesh lol
Speaking of which AMEX just called, turns out by using a private browsing session I was able to score the 25k Starpoint bonus when I app'd for my SPG without them linking me to my established account.. score!
Ughhhh I'm annoyed (just being impatient). GF and I were told via chat we would have an asnwer about membership this afternoon via chat and as soon as we were told that the status went from "referred" to "pending". I got excited but now I can't wait haha. Oh well, we'll find out tomorrow
Mine has said pending all day and I never saw referred.. did you mean it went from pending to referred?

Having worked for a CU, I'm going to bet good money this is what happens:
You get approved for this crazy limit. They send you the docs to sign electronically. They get the docs back, and send them to underwriting again. They manually review the file to make sure everything is on the up and up. They decrease your limit significantly. Send the order in. Card gets made and cut. You find out your new limit when you get the card in the mail.
Has anyone received their card in the mail?
If that is true it's bull**bleep** . I would not take a low limit high Apr card. It's misleading
Stop, you're making everyone paranoid

Sounds like a lot of unnecessary work for the CU. I doubt this is the case as they advertise that they approve CL's up to $30,000 instantly.
I'll be sure to update once I receive mine.
