Consider NASA...questions

Appled yesterday with instant approval for $25K...I'm stalking my application status to check to see if it will go into review or CL adjusted.

People are getting denied and lower limits though...so I'm hopeful mine will stay...

I came out of the garden for this - and I have only been in the garden 1 day!!  Anyway, I was approved instantly for the savings account.  Right after, I applied for the credit card and received the following response;

"Thank you for allowing NASA Federal Credit Union to assist with your financial needs.  Your application has been received and will be reviewed shortly.  You can anticipate an update to the status of your application within 2-3 days."

Is this the standard response or have apps been approved instantly?  I can not verify if this is a SP.  I have myfico 3-bureau credit monitoring and equifax's complete premier plan, but I have heard NFCU utilizes experian - but I do not have their service, so I can not verify by pulling a credit report.  I can pull one from equifax, but not sure if that would show.

I called the office today and made sure they received the address verification form from me.  She was going to email the forms I needed to sign, but haven't received those yet.  I checked online and it now says Approved, and Ready For Funding.

I think this is one of the last steps that needs to happen before getting funded.

They pull EX and it should be two SPs (one for membership, one for card) though people have reported a HP. Still uncofirmed if the HP is for those who have been a member for a while and just recently applied.

Well I said I would update this thread since it was the original NASA applicants meeting thread..

Took them 26 hours, but verified only 2 SP on EX and $10k approval for Visa Platinum-Advantage Rewards @ 10.9% with only 1 stip (utility bill). I'll have to send them a CC bill or something since the utilities aren't in my name.

I got instant approval for my savings account but I'm on the 2-3 day pending status for CC.

I hope to hear from them soon. I applied late last night so not holding hope for any response today.

Well tomorrow will be two business days! I will be elated if I am approve. Although i really should not have applied due to I need to garden my new accounts.

I wouldn't be upset. At least you didn't take a HP for it. I'm tempted to close my membership and get my 5 bucks back.
