Re: Consider NASA...questions

Mine just went from approved to approved ready for funding - this was after they sent me a second email after the first congrats email.  The second email just had me sign the document.  So I guess ready for funding is the second to last step..

That is because you didn't wait until your membership was approved.

Perhaps this is looking too much in to coincidences, but it's interesting to note that this generosity at NASAFCU has coincided with the landmark deal between NASA, Boeing & SpaceX. For the first time NASA has handed over the reigns from government to commercially-run spaceflight. These contracts were worth $6.8B - so perhaps NASA is now flush with cash and needs to put it to work.

And myfico members + credit boards will be more than happy to help them. Smiley Frustrated Smiley Tongue

I guess I don't get around so much.  Think I MIGHT have seen ccf occasionally via google, don't know "pages".  This is the best of them anyways. Smiley Tongue

We're not the only ponds in the world of credit....NASA's swamped, and running out of steam by now.

Re: Consider NASA...questions

I was declined for a cc. I am not upset. I knew I shouldn't have applied but since it was a SP, I applied. I will garden all of my new accounts and apply again at a later time. I also will keep the savings account.

Think of it as an investment in your future, as you're now a CU member, and can utilize them down the road as needed.

My reasoning for jumping on the bandwagon was membership leading to a high LTV mortgage.
