I disagree. (Not to hijack the thread.) AMEX has saved me on several occasions (not to mention the rewards). I ordered something last week online, paid with my AMEX, and shipped via FedEx. It was shipped and left at my front door, but somebody took it! I called AMEX and they said no problem, and they refunded the purchase. Lots to love with AMEX.

Actually, all my cards offer that (though haven't tried with FNCC yet).  Until I have a card with decent shopping bennies, I usually do everything amazon, since am prime member.  Though have had no problems since moving to secured building.

Right on with Amazon! I'm a Prime member, too. This was a custom order, so I'm kinda laughing at the person who has it now. It's pretty much worthless to them (or anybody else).

I got with NASA before this new rush hit and I can confirm that it's all legit. Once you go from "Instant Approved" to "Instant Approved Funded", it's a wrap. You'll get your card within 10 days, or at least I did. Been using my card every day since I got it 3 months ago.

It's really the only card that I keep in my wallet, besides my US Bank debit card for when I need cash. AND they send you Balance Transfer "For Life" checks that you can send to anyone at a 7.9%APR. you can even drop one in your bank account. 

NASA has proven to be great, and whenever I call, I get the same nice CSR who is always helpful. I wish they did JUMBO Home mortgages, I would be all over that in the next year.

Is nasa still giving out those high limits for soft pulls or did they simmer down once they met a quota? Not that I'm leaving the garden so soon or anything...

I app'd on 9/25 and was funded on 26th.  No HP.  I applied for savings account first - instantly approval and then app'd for cc.  I was approved a day later with a 30k CL.  I can see both my savings and CC account listed know when I login into NasaFCU.  So yeah, they are still giving out high credit limits as of last week.

I app'd on 9/25 and was instantly approved for their savings account. Then I app'd for their credit card and suffered a 2-3 message. Checked today and saw I was approved for 30K CL with a 14.90% APR. I have to have my residency verified with my driver's license and a utility bill though.

Well, I went ahead and applied.  Got the instant saviings account set up.

I got the cash back card, but to me it really did not matter.  I just wanted a card with a high CL to help in raising my other card limits in the future.
