Do they do the soft pull for the cc the day you apply for it or is there a few business day delay?

Is there usually a wait time on new account approvals? I'm in the garden but decided to go ahead an open a savings account with them. I applied Friday and it's now Tuesday and haven't heard anything. When I log into the account it says my status is Referred.

My balance transfer checks came about a week after the card.

I just called nasa fcu and they said that they're a week and a half behind processing applications.

I applied for just the savings/checking on Saturday 10/11.

From what I've read, the cc is a soft pull only if you apply after your membership is approved?

Anyone have any luck with applying for the cc while the membership app was still pending and only having an SP?

That's crazy talk.  Just wait until your membership app has been approved and then app for the CC.  Otherwise, you will probably walk away with a HP and a denied CC - since you were not a member.

Not sure which rock you have been living under, but welcome back.  Yes, it a SP for membership and a SP for the CC, once membership has been approved.

LOL, Im hesitant bc of my scores and  I just like reading the "approved" comments.  I think Im going to wait until end of the month when my CR update.  I may just throw the $5 to them now a join.

That sounds like a good plan.  That way you can go ahead and get your foot in the door and that will be one less step you are waiting on, once you are ready to app for the CC.  Not sure what you scores are, but it certainly seems NASA has been very generous.  However, I think the larger CL's have been reserved for scores in the 700ish range.

Anybody confirmed the fico version used with them? I briefly looked at the score letter in the mail, but I vaguely remember it not ending in an 850. Think it was 843, or 844?
