I just got the letter from nasa. They used the fake experian plus score for me. It was a softpull. I know forma fact bc i have the experian service and it matched exactly the experian plus score. My real fico experian was way lower about 640.

Anyone have a quick answer for how on earth this question generated 78 pages of responses?
Many conversations merged into one, so the Mods could contain it.
So I actually did read several pages out of curiosity. This looks similar to the Duck card phenomenon a while back?
Never mind looks like I'm not at all the first to mention that.. leaving this thread now.

@Anonymous wrote:LOL, Im hesitant bc of my scores and I just like reading the "approved" comments. I think Im going to wait until end of the month when my CR update. I may just throw the $5 to them now a join.
I would be cautious about applying for this card (and others) with the scores posted in your signature. I think you'd improve your chances of approval with a decent limit and terms if you waited until your scores were higher.
Do you have any baddies on your report?
I have a few late payements on my CapOne and Nelnet.
$2200 balance on my CapOne (last reported at $2500)
A PIF CO from BoA that was sent to PRA
A fraudulent tax lien that has been deleted from EX and EQ so far, just waiting on TU tu update (havent received a score bump yet from the deletions)
Thats all I have. I just got approved for NavCheck and a CashRewards card for a new total of $4k in new TL's, but neither has reported yet. Also my EQ was 622 before the approvals

Gotcha. Wishing you best of luck. Fingers crossed you get a nice bump from lien deletion.
What will your UTL be at after new cards report?
Finally got my credit card...which was preceded by my membership cards, BT Checks and EX score. I was Instant Approved on 9/21, then Funded on 9/23. I live close to the West Coast (maybe why mine came a little later than others).
Thanks!
If they report before my CR updates:
$179/$800 - Secured Visa
$2283/$3000 - CapOne
$0/$500 - cash Rewards
$0/$3500 - NavCheck
$2,462/$7800 = 31% or 32% UTL (I think I did the math right)
If I can get the NavCheck to become active this week I plan on paying off the entire amount of the CapOne before it reports, if thats the case:
$179/$800
$0/$3000
$0/500
$1217/$3500
$1396/$7800 = 17% UTL (again, I hope the math is right, lol)
It may be even lower than this bc I hope to pay back at least $800-$1k back to the NavCheck on the 21st or 22nd of this month. If I can pay $800-$1k the UTL will be less than 1% before reporting.
Someone feel free to correct me if Im wrong with my math. Also, I hope by end of the month TU will finally update and remove the tax lien I just pray that TU is the reason I havent recieved a bump from the tax lien, it is 3 years old tho.

Math looks good. Always safer to round up on UTL (IMHO).
Again, if it were me, I would get UTL as low as possible before app and make sure reports are as clean as possible. Seems like you're on the right track with that for sure!
Yeah, Im def gonna wait until 1st week if Nov. I'd probably pass out if I get approved for $30k, but I know thats not gonna happen any time soon. For CLs like that, they base it off income right?
Income is factored in with score and credit profile
