Not sure if this will help anyone, but my friend requested a CLI on my Costco Visa and was denied. The reason they gave is as follows: "We can’t approve it because you’ve already received a recent increase. There must be at least six months between limit changes"
I guess they are counting the CLI he received on his Amex TE card in March. I didn't realize they would count that increase towards this card.

That's certainly an interesting data point for carholders that had the amex version first!

Probably Citi considers CLI after having the new Costco Visa for 6 months. Not necessarily since last CLI. Just their canned response.
Yes, but form Amex TE card holders have reported that they have received increases immediately following activation. Others mentioned their TE card was stuck at thier limit for a long period of time. As my friends scores are high 700'a and util below 8%, inq's are less than 5, and only one new account, Amex BCE in the last year I tend to lean towards the fact that it was just increased in March and Citi is counting that..

I agree with coldnmn. Wish they had the info posted somewhere.

I received the same message, but I did receive a CLI on my other Citi card within the past 6 months. Do you have another Citi card?

This is the only Citi card

I had the same reply but I didn't receive CLI. Instead I move some CL to my Amex BCE in April. It's a SP so I wasn't too upset about it.
I have the DC and Forward cards and requested CLI on both in the past six months. I called the EO line and requested a CLI for my Costco card and was approved with a HP. The previous TE card did not have a CLI in the past six months.

Wouldn't be surprised if this were true with them
