Canceled my Credit One card before the annual fee hit in August of last year. Credit One has been pretty persistent in sending email offers. The latest offer states pre-qualified for a credit line up to $2,000. 1% cash back. After scrolling through the rates and fees, this card still comes with a whopping annual fee. $75 the first year and $99 annually afterwards.
If this offer came with no annual fee, maybe I'd give it some consideration. That and if the offer was solid, hence "credit line up to." So not interested.
Discover prequals, where are you!?! Apparently they're still hurt from our relationship in 2018 although I paid that balance in 2018
.
I cancelled one of my cards a couple months ago and they keep emailing me to come back... but they haven't offered to increase the credit limit or the terms. It had a whopping 600 CL and I specifically said that I wouldn't keep it open unless I to a CLI... curious if they'll offer the CLI at some point.
The card is already showing up as closed on my reports... if you reopened, I wonder if it would re-open with back-dating to the original date or as a new card.
Not interested but very annoyed that they keep hitting me up to come back as if they're a real card or something!

I doubt the original would be re-opened and backdated. For sure it'd be a new account.

I wouldn't go back to them for nothing. That card grows slowly and really of no good use.
Lol. Ditto!!! @designated_knitter . As @OmarGB9 mentioned, I'm sure it'd be a new card. My first card with them only had a SL of $300. My credit was poor when I app'd with them in 2019. Thank goodness for growth!!! Perhaps they figured they'd entice me with the up to $2,000 CL.
Still, I just can't
+1. that part @Anonymous .

@Anonymous I agree . . . sometimes we just have to stick with no!!! Good choice!!!
@Anonymous, considering CreditOne now has cards with no fees of any sort and higher credit limits, this is far from a good offer from them. This is a decision which doesn't even require any serious thought, "No" is the only possible answer.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
It's possible one might find an anecdotal reference to an old closed account being reopened but the general expectation should be that at a bare mininum an account that has been closed for 30+ days regardless of issuer or reason for closure would not be eligible for reopening.
Lol. The only possible answer!!
