Credit increase Capital One

 

I have started taking my credit seriously the past month and started to understand credit card utilization. My ? Is i have 2 CC which are both capital  one and Last month was the 1st time in years the card had a balance at 1%. I plan on keeping it that way. When should i ask for an increase to help my credit. Stats are below.

Current score 615 FICO Experian
1 CO$500 limit, $6 balance
1 CO secured card $200, limit zero balance no missed payments, 5 years old
Express credit card $1700 limit, zero balance no miss payments, 3yrs old
52K a year income

You should be able to ask for a credit increase every 6 months my first one they gave to me. I hope this is helpful!

i have asked before and been denied probs due to high usage and low credit score. my card has 1% utilation now and a 615 credit. As of yesterday. should i wait to ask for the increase.

I've had my Capital One card for 2 years now. I got a CLI 6 months after opening it and never got another, even after several requests. I don't use mine at all as it's just sitting in a drawer and I know that has everything to do with why they don't increase mine. They want to see spending
