I moved to the US about 9 months ago and started building credit about 7 months ago with the Discover Secured card, I have recently graduated and got a CLI. My goal its to have the Chase Sapphire Reserve. What do you guys recommed in order to get to this goal? When to apply and if I need more cards. I applied for the chase sapphire signature back in December 2018 and got denied. Thanks!

I have heard that you have to have at least a year of history before chase will consider giving you a card.
That’s a pretty prime card. The only thing I can suggest is to keep using your current cards responsibly for at least a year and try again. Good luck!
Time—more time.
And in in the meantime, get all three of your FICO scores and IMHO, stop applying for cards since you already have 3 inqs in 6 mos.
Also, what’s your highest CL? Chase doesn’t want to be your 1st high CL.
So using your existing cards diligently, continuing to pay on time, keeping UT low, and allowing existing cards to age will get you a lot closer to your goal.
The CSR has a minimum $10K credit limit, Chase is going to want to see that limit on a single card from another issuer before they will extend it to you. CSP is a better goal with a $5K minimum limit but the same thing applies here - Chase doesn’t generally like to be your first large card.
