Current Macy's Acct - Apply for New Bloomingdales SP?

Have a current Macy's account. About a year old. $1600 limit. Wondering if I apply for the Bloomingdales card if i could get it with only a SP because I already have an account with Macy's. Or would it be a new HP?

HP... SP is normally just for CLI's and the like.  Of course there are lenders like Comenity that will sometimes approve a new account with a SP but, this isn't the case with this one.

I had an experience with TD Bank. Had the Target Red card for about a year, $1300 limit. Applied for the Nordstrom store card and ended up getting approved for $2000 on the Nordstrom Signature Visa and never got an alert for a pull from any credit monitoring service.

If you WANT it then APPLY for it.  Obviously there's a 50/50 chance you'll get a HP.  GO FOR IT!

I have a Macy's card and took a HP for a Bloomingdales card so I would assume you'll take a HP hit as well.
